Rhodri Williams is a highly specialised Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 25 yrs experience.

He has degrees in both Dentistry and Medicine and holds the qualification of Fellow of Dental Surgery (FDSRCS) , the General Surgery FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons) and also the Speciality FRCS for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FRCS OMFS).

In addition to his specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training he has gained further training and specialist skills as a Craniofacial Fellow in Birmingham, UK; and also as a Paediatric Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Fellow in Melbourne, Australia.

He has particular interest in surgical training and was the Training Program Director for OMFS in the West Midlands from 2015-2020 and is currently the National Lead TPD on the Surgical Advisory Committee of the Royal College of Surgeons. He is also an Examiner for the FRCS OMFS.

Rhodri holds NHS Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial posts at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham Childrens’ Hopspital. In these posts he is regularly involved with managing complex facial problems which patients are born with or acquire through growth, trauma or other mechanism.

He has a large amount of experience in managing Adults and Children with facial disproportion and has published widely on patients’ perceptions on the outcome of jaw surgery.
